I'm really liking this thing! It's really well-made! Every bit of the surface is thoroughly finished- nice and smooth and shiny. It so easy to "put together" that it can hardly be called "building." Legitamitely, you just sit one tray in the grooves of the other and slide in the removable peg and phone tray. It's got a deceptively large number of useable spaces for the simplicity of its design. The open "eye" of the owl is meant for a watch, but I use a Fitbit instead and it has a charging station of its own. So I use that area as a bracelet and hair tie tower! It works great. I keep the hair tie I'm currently using on the notched ear just above it. I love the pen holders and the way they display my favorite pens and a stylus, and rarely struggle with getting even the more top heavy ones to stay upright in it, to my surprise considering how small those holes are. Currently I'm using the small peg to display a Mockingjay pin, but once my fiance and I have actually sat down and picked out rings, that's what I'll have there- though honestly, I can probably keep the pin there behind it. I have a keychain hanging on the other feather tuft in the corner. The phone stand is SUPER useful. I love that there's a gap to fit a charger through so that your phone can sit there overnight. I personally keep mine set up on my desk, but you know, I need to charge it there too, so I'm happy with it. Even with my thick phone case and grip, I'm able to get it to where it can accomodate my phone buy not inserting the tray all the way and having it angled slightly. And then, of course, you have the basic 3-sectioned trinket tray, which I use to keep jewelry, desk fidgets, earbuds, tweezers, and other small and temporary items, much like you'd end up with by emptying your pockets into it at the end of the night. It also shipped really well and was impressively protected for travel!For the exceptional weight and quality of the wood and the streamlined use of space in the design, $30 feels SO cheap and well worth it! The fact that it's shaped like an owl instead of just your standard wooden organizer makes this feel kind of like a luxury item. So thrilled!

Very easy to assemble; great for a catch-all, including pens, pencils, loose change, wallet, etc.Great holder for phone AND tablet, even my big S7+, in horizonal mode.It's really very useful, designed well and durable. Would recommend :)

This is well made and durable. It is made of wood and not plastic. There is a hole just for a charging cable. It will hold several pens or markers as well.
